Deeper meaning of the movie “The Devil Wears Prada"



The Devil Wears Prada is a 2006 comedy-drama film based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel of the same name. This screen adaptation stars Anne Hathaway as Andrea Sachs, a college graduate who goes to New York City and lands a job as a co-assistant to powerful fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep. Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci co-star, as co-assistant Emily Charlton and art director Nigel, respectively.

When you go to a job interview, you should prepare yourself on the best possible way:  learn all about the company you will work and dress properly for the interview. In the first 30 minutes of the film we can see clearly how the situation is strange and hard to handle when the interviewee does not have much knowledge about the company and doesn’t know who the most important person of the company is. We can learn a lot with this film, it is a very funny way to show the hard reality of the business world. 

Knowing the interests of the company, the best opportunities, which the company made better and worse for a certain period of time, know how to judge your conduct in the interview and later, if you get the job, how will be your conduct toward the company. The job interview is a tricky time for any professional, both for outgoing and for the shy and extremely anxious. This is basically because the candidate knows that the next few minutes will be decisive for his future career. End this problem is not possible, but some preparation tips can help the candidate enough, be prepared. Take all the tips you can get from successful people and do your best.
